"Sky Ponies" was written for me by my wife. It showed our dreams were and are the same. I absolutely love it....and her.
Sky Ponies
Riding on the past and future
Dreams not bound by time
Still flow freely in the river of our mind
To that secret spot, most treasured.
We ride together
Carried by our sky ponies to future places
Where dreams become real
Granting wishes of the heart.
Sky ponies lift us with the wind
Where mortals such as us can fly.
Transporting dreams to earth.
Hearing hoof beats on desert sands
Vibrations of life, pounding heartbeats
That keep our spirits wild.

Elwah Crescent Night
Filtered moonlight through the boughs
Moist and damp
Sweet and earthy
Racing on the path of deer
Taste the wind
Footprints on the forest floor
Cool and soft, the fern fronds yield
Sweet as night can be
Hear the cougar scream
Embrace the coyote howl
Feel the wild
Know you're free
To rise on spirit winds

Veterans Welcome Home
Carried to a place
Where time and minds embrace
Not touched by decades or facades
Striped naked of the time
Where only love can blindly bind
To loose again within our mind
A tender, gentle kiss

A poem and a remembrance to one of Linda's bestest friends in life and thereafter. Don't we wish we could all say this?
Here it is....
Pegasus
Blue Grey Eyes
With flecks of gold, natural beauty
Raven haired and natural curls.
Laughter, strength, true friend.
Pounding thunder,
Racing
Tears down our cheeks.
Danger, laughter, daring
Riding harder,
Speeding to the finish line.
I looked back and you were gone,
Tears flowing
Down
My
Face.
With sweet memories of your Blue Grey Eyes.
May God Bless and Keep you
Safe,
Until we meet again.
In memory of Peggy Schuster-Poulter, August 1, 1993. Forever missed and loved.
